HOW CAN WE ASSIST?

  • BOX SET RETURN POLICY
    Due to the nature of pre-owned vinyl, you may experience light distortion, pops and clicks while listening. Album sleeves and surfaces may show signs of wear. Vintage clothing and ephemera may also display signs of wear. All SOUNDBOX vinyl is rated Very Good or higher in quality, unless otherwise indicated in the product description. Pre-Owned Inventory All sales of Pre-Owned Inventory (albums and vintage merchandise) are final except under the following conditions: 1. Timeliness: All return matters must be handled in a timely fashion. Customers have five business days from the receipt of the order to communicate with SOUNDBOX regarding any complaints. Once a return request has been made, the customer has 5 business days to return the merchandise for a refund or replacement. 2. Processing Error: If an error has occurred in a customer order at the fault of SOUNDBOX, then SOUNDBOX will accept the item back for a refund or credit. However, if an error occurs at the fault of the customer ordering an item, SOUNDBOX cannot be held responsible. 3. Shipping Error or Damage: If an order is damaged or mishandled due to an error by our shipping company, please contact us at hello@soundboxsets.com within five business days of delivery to process a claim with the carrier. Please keep in mind that the return must be handled in a way that allows for proper survey of the damage caused. Photographs and/or return of the damaged order may be required. New Inventory All sales of New Inventory are final except under the following conditions: 1. Timeliness: All return matters must be handled in a timely fashion. Domestic Orders Standard Ground: Orders placed before 1pm PST should be received within 2-5 business days. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays are handled on the Monday or the first working day after. (Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Overnight: Orders placed before 1pm PST should be received the next business day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays are handled on the Monday or the first working day after. (Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). Canada / International Orders Express Worldwide: Orders placed before 1pm PST should be received within 3-5 business days. MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS Your SOUNDBOX order may be fulfilled from different locations. You will receive notification via email when your order is being split into multiple shipments. There is no additional shipping fee when your order is split into multiple shipments. ORDER TRACKING When your order is ready to be shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. The email will contain shipment details, your tracking number, and a link to the selected carrier site. To track the order, click on the tracking number located near the bottom of the email.

  • What's in the (SOUND)BOX?!
    Every SOUNDBOX comes with a curated collection of 8 pre-owned vinyl records in a sturdy, display-worthy slipcase. All SOUNDBOX vinyl is rated Very Good or higher in quality, unless otherwise indicated in the product description. With the exception of Special Edition Packages, each SOUNDBOX also comes with a limited edition art print, signed and numbered by the artist, as well as a modernist birch frame. Our current featured artist is Alexander Hanke from Berlin - check out his work! Special Edition SOUNDBOX Packages are one-of-a-kind, experiential collections that tell an imagined story about who originally bought the albums and how they might have lost them - only to be unearthed decades later. Each Special Edition SOUNDBOX package comes with a curated collection of 8 pre-owned vinyl records in a sturdy, display-worthy slipcase, alongside a mix of vintage clothing, luggage and other collectible treasures. All SOUNDBOX vinyl is rated Very Good or higher in quality, unless otherwise indicated in the product description.
  • Are all the vinyl albums pre-owned?
    Yes, SOUNDBOX deals exclusively in pre-owned vinyl. The production of vinyl records is a dirty business. The PVC used to make records can take up to 1,000 years to decompose, and archaic album presses consume more than twice the energy of newer (and much less common) injection-molding machinery. By working with pre-owned media, SOUNDBOX lowers the demand for newly-pressed albums and encourages responsible collecting.
  • What kind of vinyl quality should I expect? Will all of the albums be playable?

  • What size records come in the box?
    We use 12 inch albums, or LPs in all our box sets, unless otherwise noted in the product description.
  • Can I have a custom SOUNDBOX made?
    Yes! We would love to work with you on a custom SOUNDBOX. From stand-alone custom box sets, to bulk orders, we can accommodate your needs.
